What does the word Adventure mean to you?
Is it taking a small step outside of your comfort zone, Or perhaps taking a leap towards the unknown?
Is it setting out for an ambitious destination knowing that there WILL be risks along the way, Or is it starting a journey that may not even have a destination?
Is it following where others have already passed, Or is it going your own way?
Is it looking for something, but you don't know what it is, or where it is, or whether you'll even find it, but you'll know once you have?
Is it packing up you life as you know it, seeing off the daily routine, reaching for your bucket list and setting off for another state, country or even continent?
Is it searching for the darkest patch that you can find so that you can look far back in time, Or is it reaching beyond the stars or trying to capture something that you've never seen before?
Is it doing something for the very first time or sensing something new, unusual and exciting?
Is it meeting fellow adventurers who have come from far, Or is it getting to know the locals who have been here all the time? (even if you can't speak their language)
Is it finding a place where peace and quiet and space and time all come together?
Is it chasing the setting sun, Or being chased by the rising sun?
The word Adventure means something different to each of us, designed in the heart of Africa and tested in her unforgiving backyard.
